Is the wallet really free forever?
Yes — creating and holding a Slimpay wallet costs nothing. Bill payments (airtime, electricity, cable TV, school fees) have no platform fee. You only pay the face value of what you're buying, plus ₦25 for bank withdrawals.
How does biller commission work?
When a user pays a biller, Slimpay deducts 2.5% (capped at ₦2,000) and credits the net amount to the biller's balance. On a ₦10,000 collection, the biller receives ₦9,750. School billers get a reduced 1.5% rate.
How do I withdraw my biller earnings?
From your biller dashboard, click "Request Payout," enter your Nigerian bank details, and your balance is settled to your account — typically within minutes. Biller payouts are free.
What are payment link fees?
Creating a payment link is free. When someone pays through your link, a flat ₦150 fee is deducted from the payment. If someone pays ₦10,000 via your link, you receive ₦9,850 in your wallet.
Is there a minimum wallet balance?
No minimum balance. Your wallet can sit at ₦0 indefinitely. Fund when you need to, use as little or as much as you want.
Are there fees to register as a biller or school?
Registration is completely free for both billers and schools. You only pay when you successfully collect — there are no subscription fees, setup fees, or monthly charges.
